Planning your college applications can feel overwhelming, but breaking it down month by month makes the process manageable. This comprehensive timeline covers everything from initial research to final enrollment decisions.


Junior Year: Spring (March–May)


Research Phase

  • Begin researching colleges that match your academic interests, campus culture preferences, and career goals
  • Attend college fairs and virtual information sessions
  • Start a spreadsheet tracking schools, deadlines, requirements, and costs
  • Take the SAT or ACT for the first time as a baseline
